8 Days Tour From Casablanca to Merzouga Desert, Fes and Marrakech

After having a Moroccan typical breakfast at your accommodation, we will start our visit of the first Imperial city in Morocco accompanied with a professional local guide. The journey begins with visiting the Medina and its “souks” (markets), the astonishing Royal Palace and the ninth century Karaouine University. After that, we will visit the tomb Moulay Idriss II (the founder of the cityin the 8^th century). Lunch will be at one of the local restaurants in the Medina. After having lunch, we will head to visit the Nejjarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. we will stop to appreciate an all-encompassing view of the entire medina before we go back to your accommodation.

Day 3: Fes – Merzouga

On the day number three of this tour, we will have breakfast and drive towards Merzouga desert through many wonderful places, views and landscapes. Our journey’s path goes through the Middle Atlas Mountains and travel through several interesting Berber villages. On the way, we will stop for having lunch at a local restaurant in Midelt. After that, we will drive along the wonderful river of Oued Ziz. Via many Kasbahs and palm groves, we will pass before arriving at Merzouga in the early evening. You will spend overnight and have dinner at a hotel in the small town.

Day 4: Tour around Erg Chebbi by 4×4 – camel ride and night in desert camp

In the morning after you have breakfast, we start our visit around the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will visit one of the nomad families at their house and listen to some unique Gnawa music. Then, we will head to visit Berber oasis and palm trees. Lunch will be back in Merzouga. Later on, you will experience a camel trek to camp in Erg Chebbi. You will ride camels going through the extraordinary golden dunes where you will have the chance take some brilliant photos. After arriving at the camp, we climb the high dunes to enjoy the breath-taking sunset. You will spend the night and have dinner at one of the well-equipped Berber tents.

Day 5: Merzouga – Ouarzazate

After admiring the amazing sunrise over the sand dunes, we will return to Merzouga. We will have a chance to shower and have a dazzling breakfast. After that, we resume our journey with driving to visit Ouarzazate. During our traveling to the destination, we will make a stop to visit the Berber shops where you may want to buy gifts like fossils, floor coverings, lights, cowhide… We arrive at Ouarzazate in the late afternoon and check in a hotel where you will have dinner and spend overnight.

Day 6: Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Leaving Ouarzazate after your breakfast, we will head to visit Ait Benhaddou which one of the World Heritage Sites. This popular and amazing Kasbah has served as a backdrop for for shooting over Hollywood 20 movies including Gladiator. After having lunch, we will make our way back to Marrakech traveling through Tizi-n-Tichka pass. In the evening, we will reach Marrakech.

Day 7: Marrakesh

The seventh day of this tour will be devoted to explore Marrakech. We will visit the Menara Gardens, The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace. lunch will be had at a local restaurant in the Medina. Toda’s journey will be finished by a walk in the brilliant souks of Marrakech. We will appreciate a sunset drink overlooking the lively Djemaa El Fna Square. supper and night at the accommodation (riad/hotel).

Day 8: Marrakesh – Casablanca

In the morning, we will drive back to Casablanca from our ideal tour started. OUR SERVICES COME TO AN END.
