Appreciate a day excursion to Ourika Valley from Marrakech. It is a great opportunity to get away from the bustling boulevards of the Medina of Marrakech. Appreciate the picturesque drive past the brilliant lavish valleys situated at the southern slants of the high Atlas Mountains. Prepare to move to the cascades of Setti Fadma, visit a friendly Berber house and taste some hot mint tea.

OURIKA VALLEY DAY TOUR ITINERARY
09H00 – 16H00 :MARRAKECH – OURIKA VALLEY
Your day-excursion to Ourika Valley starts from your accommodation in Marrakech at 09h00 am.
Take a short drive from Marrakech to the lower regions of the Atlas Mountains. You will have the chance to experience exploring a nearby Berber public traditional marke (mostly is held Mondays). From here, proceed with your drive along the valley of Ourika and go through Berber villages. As you go up the slopes, you will be halted by different magnificent views and landscapes.
Your first stop will be made in a friendly Berber family’s home living overlooking the valley. You will be blessed to receive a heavenly neighborhood breakfast: tea, bread, olive oil…
Afterwards, we continue with our visit towards Setti Fatma, a most loved end of the week destination for locals on account of its rich green valleys, excellent streams and cascades, bluffs and open spaces. You will climb as far as possible up to the main cascade joined by your guide.
Following that, you will return for lunch in at a nearby restaurant beside the stream with lovely views over the mountains. En route, you will get the opportunity to visit a district that still uses a medieval farming convention. You will have the option to take brilliant pictures of green porches encompassing the Atlas Mountains while you are strolling around the valley.
At around 04h00 pm, you will be back to Marrakech city where the Ourika day-trip will come to an end.
