DAY TRIP TO ESSAOUIRA ITINERARY
08H00 – 19H00 :MARRAKECH – ESSAOUIRA 6 HOURS DRIVE
Your day-trip starts from Marrakech to Essaouira at 8:00 am. Cross the Houaz Planes towards the small Berber town of Sidi Lmokhtar Western Marrakech.
You will take a short break to rest and proceed past the remarkable Argan trees woodland. This is the place where you will have the opportunity to see goats climbing trees looking for Argan nuts. It is a superb and uncommon incredible sight.
We will make a stop at a nearby Argan oil cooperative before resuming our day to Val d’Argan. It is an astonishing a vineyard that was built up by a French wine expert.
After reaching the destination, you will meet your experienced guide who will acquaint you with the city. You will visit the Medina, the Mellah (old Jewish quarter), the Kasbah (old military bastion), and the small fishing port.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant/café. Toward the evening, you will be able to admire the city, with its delightful sea shores and loosened up state of mind and appreciate some espresso or hot Moroccan mint tea at the popular Place Moulay Elhassan while tuning in to the special Gnawa music being played.
